Fleetwood Mac is a British-American rock band founded in 1967 in London, England. The band is known for their hit songs like "Dreams", "Go Your Own Way", and "Rhiannon".
One of the most prominent members of Fleetwood Mac is their guitarist and songwriter Lindsey Buckingham. Buckingham joined the band in 1975 and contributed greatly to their commercial success. His distinctive guitar style, which incorporates fingerpicking and a unique use of rhythm and melody, has become a hallmark of the band's sound.
Buckingham has also written many of Fleetwood Mac's classic songs, including "Go Your Own Way", "Tusk", and "Big Love". He left the band in 1987 but returned in 1997 for their reunion tour and subsequent albums.
Other notable guitarists who have played with Fleetwood Mac include Peter Green, Jeremy Spencer, Bob Welch, and Bob Weston. The band has had a revolving door of members over the years, but they continue to perform and record music to this day.
